Adrian Cox
Born 1952 in London.
Studied piano in the Royal Northen College of Music, England with
Gordon Green.
Postgraduate studies in Vienna and the begin of a successful career as a pianist in Vienna.
Has given concerts and toured extensively throughout Europe, U.S.A., and Japan as chamber music pianist and accompanist with leading musicians of the Vienna Philarmonic and well known soloists in Japan.
Played in some of the most well known concert halls in Europe and Japan:
Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna, Salle Caveau in Paris, Wigmore Hall in London, Suntory Hall in Tokyo.
Has taught a piano class in the L.v. Beethoven Institute in the Vienna University for 30 years. His many international students are now to be found throughout the world as piano teachers and performers.
Is now currently teaching advanced and talented students in the Amadeus International School in Vienna.
Adrian is happily married, and is the father of the film and screen actress Emily Cox.
Hobbies and Interests:
Meditation and Feldenkrais.
Long distance bike riding with tent. In 2019 toured 900 km throughout Bretagne. (Bike: Oxford Bike Works Touring Bike).
